With so many cameras available, it shouldn't be hard to intensify the perps. The weight wasn't listed, but multiple people and some sort of truck had to be involved.

There was a truck. The two perps put it on the back of a pick-up.

And I do not remember that a lot of cameras were available at this place.

They probably passed many cameras. Many stores, restaurants, banks etc have cameras facing the roads. Not to mention all the Ring doorbells. It may depend on how active the police are during their investigation.

This is a first in recent history during which hundreds if not thousands of statues were toppled, desecrated, stolen, and otherwise vandalized, yet absolutely nothing was done about it! Hope they are punished to the fullest extent of the law, but can you imagine the outrage if they are released without bail pending their trial.
