Default Stress and Panic causing more cardiomyopathy during Pandemic

Stress cardiomyopathy is a condition caused by intense emotional or physical stress leading to rapid and severe reversible cardiac dysfunction. It mimics myocardial infarction with changes in the electrocardiogram and echocardiogram, but without any obstructive coronary artery disease.

So basically a heart attack caused by stress

Question Is psychological, social, and economic stress associated with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) associated with the incidence of stress cardiomyopathy?

Findings This cohort study included 1914 patients with acute coronary syndrome to compare patients presenting during the COVID-19 pandemic with patients presenting across 4 timelines prior to the pandemic and found a significantly increased incidence of 7.8% of stress cardiomyopathy during the COVID-19 pandemic, compared with prepandemic incidences that ranged from 1.5% to 1.8%.

Meaning These findings suggest that psychological, social, and economic stress related to the COVID-19 pandemic was associated with an increased incidence of stress cardiomyopathy

This is why I try to expose false media reports like "120 deaths Florida's deadliest day ever" and "Florida's Hospital capacity is being overrun" "Florida is the next New York"

When you look at actual data, much of the panic porn in the media is false.

Stress can kill you. Don't fall for it and don't spread it. The life you save may be your own.

Yes we have tons of new cases. I will continued my modified Howard Hughes lifestyle of staying out of all buildings except home, curbside pickup of groceries, staying 20 feet from all people, playing golf alone and swimming in my pool.

I predict that this surge of new cases will be over by end of the month and new cases will start falling again and things will be much better by September. I could be wrong but that hardly ever happens. Just kidding, we will see.

This is New York compared to Florida. We're not going to look like that.
