Haven’t watched baseball since the strike of 94. They are all scum. Games take to long and the players have no loyalty to their teams.

What would you call it? Would you prefer genocide? I think if 6 million of your ancestors including much of your relatives were systematically eliminated you might make a big deal out of it. While I am not Jewish, I am still appalled at our leaders actions (and lack of) at the time. The fact that other minorities were also targeted does not diminish the atrocity. We must never forget.

You probably do not know all the community work professional players do.

I see there are still many people who don’t get the fact that for a long time “all” didn’t include black people. Justice for all meant justice for all white people. Rights for all meant rights for all white people and so on. In the original Constitution, black men counted for less than white men and women didn’t count at all. Now, some people are saying that “all” should include black people, too.

When you see “black lives matter,” just think of it as “black lives matter, too.” That’s what it really means. It was never meant to be “only black lives matter.” Absolutely nobody thinks it should mean that.

There are many ways to protest instead of disrespecting our flag and national anthem.

I wonder if all these people who feel it is really important to stand for the national anthem stand up in their living rooms when it is played on TV. I suspect they remain seated in their recliners while holding a beer and shoving snacks in their mouths.

I feel that the national anthem is being abused by being played for so many gatherings that are totally unrelated to patriotism. It should be reserved for special occasions. For instance, play it during ball games on Independence Day, but not for every game. It cheapens the anthem the way it is overused. But, the ball parks do it because they are pandering to those who think it’s important. Is that any worse than what some here think of as pandering when players take a knee before the game starts?

Don't support BLM and to see it on the back of the picture mound seemed bold to me but MLB is free to do what they feel needs to be done! BTW there are more black skin players in the MLB than white skin!

Default Knees

Both teams took a knee B4 the National Anthem that was it during the Anthem they all stood with hats off and hand over heart. Kneeling does not effect how they due their job and play the game!

When was the last time they played National Anthem at a golf tournament and had all golfers stand for respect.

Now please help me understand how your noble description relates to rioting, looting, flag burning and defunding police.

That is ok with me. What I didnt like was seeing blm printed elsewhere on the field.

That caused me to change the channel.

Either all lives matter or none matter.
BLM is not saying ALL lives don’t matter...it is simply calling attention to the fact that our history has shown that BL DON’T matter...that’s all...once again, I invite all of you to listen to Dale Hansen’s YouTube missive on the kneeling issue....VERY RELEVANT!!
