Put an LED bulb in. Leave it on all day.
$5 a year to run.
Problem solved!

I can’t help but cheer you on. We did this and love it. We also installed one in the garage. We blocked off the second switch in the laundry room so we don’t override the occupancy switch. Good luck, I called Pikes electric and it took the electrician awhile to figure out the instructions. Hope that makes you feel better.
