Default Adding Outdoor Electric Outlet

We are thinking of adding a small water fountain in the front of my CYV. I will be seeking Architectural Review Committee approval for the water feature. My question is do I need a “county permit” to add a new outlet from the existing one on the front wall of the villa? I have looked at Sumter County’s webpage and do not see anything that deals with homeowners DIY. Might have missed it - wouldn't be the 1st time! I’m sure the ARC will let me know but I would like to know the answer before asking in case there is any latitude in their response.

Safest bet would be to call the building department and ask them.

that is too minor to bother with an request for approval of an outlet, just use a gfi.
