No matter what you buy if it is electric put surge protection on it for electric. These mother boards are suppose to have it on them but dont take the chance.

I've always used Consumer Reports when purchasing products. You can join on-line or get their magazines. The have an annual Buyers Guide which is what I generally use.

Suggest you stay with one of the Whirlpool Corp. brands such as Whirlpool, Kithenaid, Maytag, Jenn-air, Amana. All very good brand names, and built in the US.

when i called to have my washer looked at i was asked by 3 companies if it was and LG they did not work on them....just saying
