First, I have already contacted the Amateur Radio club and the connected villager club with this question so now I am looking for a wider range of advice.
I purchased a device that allows a PS2 keyboard to be encoded to Morse code, which works very well. It came with a second device that would then decode the Morse code and display the text, while also sounding at actual dots and dashes. This device does not work, the seller does not reply. So, I am searching for a suitable Morse code decoder, ALL of the devices on Amazon and Ebay are either the same or very similar design to what I already have (these are all priced in the $10 to $30 range). I found some references to MFJ equipment (no longer available) as well as some designs that would require a significant amount of programming or wiring. My ideal solution would be a COMPLETE kit that I would assemble or a fully assembled unit hopefully under $100. These are typically used by ham radio operators and plug into the speaker output of the radio to provide the Morse code text. I have spent hours on dozens of websites as well as a general internet search and have not found a suitable, outside of building my own from scratch from a schematic, so if you have and leads or ideas, please let me know.

@villagetinker I cannot help your directly but in two weeks one of the largest ham radio events in the US is taking place in west Orlando. Manufacturers of equipment and a huge flea market area. You might find want you want there or talk to someone who can give you a lead.
