Default Laminate Flooring over Ceramic Tiles

We discovered that our laminate kitchen floor(which I am not crazy about)was layed directly over ceramic tile. We would like to take up the laminate but have no idea if he tile is damaged or not. Has anyone else had this experience?

Yes I have. The laminate flooring has a pad underneath so you should be fine the tile will be dirty.

Once the flooring is up, hire a tile/grout cleaning company who will clean and seal the grout...tile cannot be sealed. You may however wish you had kept the laminate, that's the chance you take.
