Default Golf Cart Seat Belts

Seatbelts for 2020 Quiet Tech Drive 2 EFI.

The ones I tried from Amazon have a bar for the seatbelts attachments. This bar is to be attached to the vertical supports of the roof/chairback using short brackets. However next to the vertical supports are downspouts to drain rainwater from the roof. There is no room to attach the brackets. Any suggestions?

The Villages Golf Cart stores install several seat belts every day. Go by one of their service centers and see how they do it.

I ordered a set of two from Amazon a couple of years back. 10L0L Golf Cart Seat Belt kit 42" Retractable Seatbelts. $59.95 now I paid less). They're designed to fit most two-passenger carts, which means that they fit none exactly. It took a bit of work; four holes drilled in the framing behind the seat and a trip to Ace for the right-sized bolts, but they DO fit and work very well. I recall I discarded the instructions early on as they were obviously not set up for my particular cart (Yamaha 2014), and I did have a fair number of parts left over. But I'm happy with the result.

I don't know what a cart shop would charge. My guess is that for parts and labor, probably $300.00 or more depending on the shop.

I would need to see your cart, but I am sure there is a way to do what you want I would be glad to take a look, send me a PM to get together. Also, there are at least 2 local companies that install seatbelts as i recall both come to your house for the installation.

Call Todd Casey, he came to our home and installed them in our carts for a very reasonable price.

Thank you everyone for your advice, especially the ones that send me pictures. I ended up using a private installer. He uses the same seat belt setup as "Villages Discount Golf Car" but for a lower price.

The ones I tried from Amazon don't fit mostly because of the Yamaha's rain water down spouts sending the rainwater to under the cart. I'll be adding revews on the two I tried from Amazon with the title: "Not Recommend for Yamaha"
