Default Samsung washer/dryer pedestals

Just purchased a home with front loader Samsung washer/dryer (approx. 3- 4yrs old). Units are on pedestals and are too big and tall for area. Pedestals are FIRMLY attached to appliance with no visible way to separate and remove. Does anyone have knowledge or experience with how appliance is attached to pedestal. Samsung site shows a clamp but I believe this is a newer model as ours has a black square (2") with no visible clamp or release to separate base from washer/dryer. I would like to remove pedestal and place appliance on floor.

Maybe if you go to Lowes or Best Buy, one of the sales people can help you out.

Take a closer look at your owners manual, this type of information is usually included in these instructions. Also, try a search on youtube. If you PM me with the specific model number, maybe I can find something.
