Default Screen Enclosure Fading & Discoloration

We have the bronze (brown) screen enclosure on the patio and front entry. After the guy washed the exterior of our house the bronze metal changed colors. In one place it looks faded on the kick plate. On the screen enclosure there are places that look like someone spray painted a yellowish green paint (which they did not.) Has anyone else had problems with their bronze screen enclosures discoloring? If so, what did you do if anything to fix the problem? How did it turn out?

Possibly a highly concentratd bleach was used? I tried a cleaning product for screen enclosures called pool cage plus with no problems.
