Default Wanted MVP super station wall unit

My neighbor had a MVP wall unit fail recently, and I just sold the last one I had, so if anyone has one please let me know.

The unit outside our garage door has failed and unable to find those as well. Given how many the developer has put in the Villages hopefully somebody will make a replacement or universal that will work.

You need to describe this much better. Start with what is a MVP wall unit.

Edit: what he is talking about is a garage door opener controller which is on the wall to raise and lower the garage door.

It’s probably this one that’s been discontinued for years?

Allstar 110838 Super Deluxe Wall Station, 7 function Garage Door Opener

Mine was acting up and I disassembly and cleaned buttons and it works better after cleaning. The soft rubber under the control buttons starts to deteriorate. Sometimes cleaning helps?

I did find the ad in the classifieds for the repair of these units and I gave this info to my neighbor. We are going to try a few other tests to make sure it is the inside wall unit that has failed. The neighbor was doing the online search and I am not sure what they found, I posted to see if anyone happened to have one to sell
Finally, yes this is the Allstar 7 function wall unit.

The only souce I have found for these units is Ebay, where they occasionally are listed for sale.

Had a very nice conversation with Veterans Garage Door.

They confirmed that the universal controls will not work with MVP and our choice would be an entire new unit including motor or finding one for sale somewhere.

I would hope that with the tens of thousands the villages has put in somebody will put mvp into a control unit or lots of us will be spending a lot of money opening garage doors from the outside.

Can't you use a handheld remote to open the door from the inside?

We can and do. Would be nice if going for a walk to be able to open the golf cart garage door from outside without carrying the clicker.

I would suspect the original poster was referring to the inside unit called the Super Station.

The Super Stations are wired directly to their appropriate Control. A Super Station has the following functions:

      a     Raise the Garage Door
      b     Lower the Garage Door
      c     Stop the Garage Door
      d     Lock the Garage Door
e     Turn on/off the Control light
      f     Erase The Control memory
g     Put The Control memory into the learn Mode

If the Super station fails, you lose the capability of adding any remotes to have their codes added to the overhead control (item g above).

I think my Super station has failed since I can no longer get a new remote accepted , since a pin in the hole on the super station does not get the overhead unit to go into the learn mode.

All other functions still work with existing remotes.
