Default Whole house fan

During this in between time of year where it's too cool for A/C but too warm without we always talk about a window fan like we had as kids or a whole house fan.

Anyone have any experience with either one in TV, especially any contractors who install whole house fans?

Don't believe window fans are allowed in TV. Not sure what a whole house fan is, sorry. I've found that an open door to the lanai and ceiling fans work very well when temps hit low 80s. Keeps house comfie.

I know what your talking about, but can't help. I know they work great. A friend has one up north and it really cuts down on the ac bill. I'm not sure why you don't see them more down here.

We had one up North and loved it. You would probably find use for one here a few months out of the year. It does get really muggy though and if you have wood or laminate floors all that humidity might be a problem.
