Why would they redo Amberwood when there are so many others in terrible condition?

That's because Amberwood is in District 4 in The Villages. Each district is responsible for their executive courses. So if you course in your district is in bad shape then voice your concern to the manager in that district.

Played Amberwood yesterday and its in really good condition. Theres probably 10 executive courses that would die to have its greens.

Districts are not responsible for the golf courses. That's where you amenity fees go.
