Default Bellaire

There must be some sort of an electrical barrier at the turnpike that prevents weeds from growing on the executive courses “down south” !

Bellaire is in outstanding condition ! Not a weed on the greens or tee boxes to be found (as of Thursday).

Even the practice green (pictured) is in pristine condition .

The pins were fairly placed and the speed of the greens was medium.

Tee boxes were nicely maintained and tee to greens was also in very good condition.

Bellaire, as well as the other courses south of the turnpike, serve as an example that it can be done.

Course gets an A +

The Boss, Donald Jones, said that using preemergent chemicals to prevent Silverleaf would be a point of emphasis. As you noticed at Churchill Greens, it didn't work very well. The new courses have not had the ugly grass sprout, yet.

Not too long ago, Churchill was also in pristine condition.

And earlier this year, Laurel Oak was bombarded with the weeds all over the greens, around the greens and elsewhere.

I don’t know how they did it but they totally eradicated those weeds within months time !

I’ll try to find and post that review with the pictures….
