Any fellow golfers found the best cleaning product to remove whatever the green stain on your golf shoes is from? Fertilizer, weed killer, pesticide, or what? I inquired with villages golf but no answer. I just try to keep my shoes clean.

I find Dawn powerwash spray gets just about every stain out. If it doesn’t work on your shoes it is good for all kinds of stains on laundry items. It’s worth a try.

The green stain on your shoes is from the green dye they put on the dormant grass.

Thanks for the many responses. Since most dyes are made by food coloring I'll try the Dawn dish washing solution. I just wanted to find out before breaking in a new pair of golf shoes to keep them clean.

I have a pair of white moisture resistant golf shoes. The green stain comes off easily with a Mr. Clean eraser and running water. The off-brand eraser from Dollar Tree works the same.
