Wow ! What a DISAPPOINTMENT !

After months of being closed for “renovation” , whoever they hired to do the makeover should be fired !

The tee boxes were rough , MANY (not all) greens were pretty c*appy) considering the length of time being closed .

Three of the greens were REALLY rough and it was a challenge to keep a putt going straight on most of the greens !

The course is a beautiful layout with a lot of challenges depending on your tee box so it is very disappointing to see it in this type of condition after a makeover.

All that said, a C + is an appropriate rating in my opinion…..

We played there the day it reopened. Maybe my expectations were too high, after being closed for so long. In my opinion, the course was in just "OK" condition...certainly a grade no higher than a C. My first thought was, it won't take long for Pelican to look like it did before it was renovated.

Another disappointing golf course “improvement.”

The beat goes on.

What a shame. In my opinion, Pelican is the best layout of any executive course in the entire bubble. Why can’t they keep the conditions up to par there with the other executives courses. Thinking about it, Cane Garden has been struggling with conditions recently also, perhaps whoever is responsible for maintenance of the courses in that particular area needs to be replaced?

Sure glad the USGA is assisting. What a total joke.

Played the course today, 9/12/25, I think I've practiced in better cow pastures. The greens are horrible to say the least, some mower bounced the blades all the way across the greens leaving them in unplayable condition. The holes looked like mole holes so much of the edges have been caved in. Grass has not grown over the "old" holes so you have hazards on the putting green. We will not be back to this course it is c*ap.

False. Do your self and favor and don’t be that guy. We pay a great price to have amenities that we have. These courses aren’t meant to be perfect. Go find that cow pasture that is better and play in that.

The edges of the holes being caved in is usually the players earlier, digging with their clubs to retrieve their ball.
