You do realize the “developers” have no control over executive courses once they are turned over to the districts? Developer, not caretaker.

In the winter the greens get played on from 30 minutes after sunrise to sunset, solid, constant play, by people who can't be bothered to bend over and fix a punch mark. On top of that, during the cold weather, the grass has no healing capacity at all. It's basically dormant.

Better conditions under such circumstances?
Ain't gonna happen.

Because 'The Developer' reads TOTV looking for complaints?

Have you considered attending the next meeting of your CDD board and stepping up to the podium? That may actually have an impact.

It definitely seems like some people on here have the impression that Mark Morse is spending time everyday checking what people on TOTV are saying.

I agree with your comment 100%. However, it is the AAC which oversees the executive courses.

Rating the executive course greens on this website is a waste of time. Unless! The poster thinks by complaining about the greens at a particular course will cause people not to play there, and then they will have more tee time’s available at that course. If that works, the greens at Saddlebrook are REALLY bad!

1) As said earlier, the developer does not own the executive courses.
2) The greens are Bermuda grass, it goes dormant in cold weather. Bermuda recovers from wear very slowly in cool temperatures.
3) As said earlier, the courses are in constant play with some players scuffing their feet and not fixing ball marks.

That is not the problem at Bonita Pass, all of the greens have have only small patches of grass. The course needs to be closed and all greens reseeded. Terrible condition.

Default Now exc course should have more $ to work with

As part of new priority, now paying extra for the executive courses, hope they put the money where it should be meant for.

All comments are valid but still do not explain why some EXEC courses still have reasonably puttable green.

Cheers!
