Played my first round ever at this course yesterday & had great weather during it. I found it very challenging to say the least and would rate it very close to Amberwood in terms of complexity. Greens in great shape and rolled nicely. Course well manicured & watered appropriately. Overall course condition was in great shape. Greens contoured to add to challenge and many hidden behind traps. Suggest a round here if want to test your skills.

I thoughts the greens were terrible, very slow and dried out.

Truman and Roosevelt are two of the best executive layouts in The Villages.

True except for the first of two par 4 holes (hole No 6). The fairway is a mess, almost no grass, not kept up at all. It's like hitting off hardpan. Quite a contrast to the rest of the course, including the 2nd par 4 hole (No. 7).
