Default Pimlico

We played Pimlico yesterday after having played it about 3 months ago. At that time , the course had recently reopened after a complete renovation.

I’m happy to say that the maintenance crew is doing a fantastic job in keeping the course in wonderful condition !

The course has a great layout with two back to back par 4’s and a variety of difficulty levels depending on tee box choice .

There is nothing negative to report . Tees to greens are plush, the greens are in great shape and roll true and the fairways are as good as they get .

The course deserves an A +

I haven't played there in several years. Time for a visit.

Did you notice they cut the slope of #8 green down quite a bit?

Yes , I’ve read comments from others that the “character “ of that hole was ruined 🤷*♂ï¸

Doesn’t make any difference to me ! 😂

I played a month ago and the greens were horrible, they crunch when you walk on them, they putt like they are Velcro. The greens on almost all executive courses are bad. Great looking courses, but the greens and surrounds ruin the courses. Why cant they make the greens like the championship courses?

Sounds like you have a little too much sauce in your tin cup. Go play Evans prairie, go play cane garden, go play Bonifay. All three are horrible. Executives are getting better and better. I play both and think champion courses are struggling.
