Default Yankee Clipper

Yankee Clipper just reopened on Sunday after the recent course closures due to the storm . Cart path only as you would expect. Many if not most of the holes did not need to be cart path only.

The course was in just “ok” shape. Lots of weeds everywhere.

Though not perfect, the greens were the best part of the course .

Lots of tee boxes were in terrible shape , many areas of the course had awful bare and very bumpy areas that haven’t had any maintenance attention in a LONG time .

The fairways on the 2 four par holes were in good shape .

An overall rating of “C” is well justified.

I played Yankee Clipper twice this week and the cart path only restriction has been removed for the 2 par 4 holes. Unless you have a handicap flag on your cart, par 3s should always be golf cart only.

Absolutely! But , there are two players in our group that have the CAP privileges. And they deserve it . One is 90 YOA and the other 88 YOA

What’s really needed is to eliminate the ones that don’t really need it other than sheer laziness !!

And I know a few of those too…
