Default Colored Jeans

What are your thoughts on colored jeans? Do you like them or not? I'm debating on buying a purple pair however, I keep thinking they are for my daughters age group. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Jeans of any kind are way too hot for me - but I'd definitely go purple.

If I had the figure I would have jeans in every color they made - except can't wear them here 'cause I agree too hot - even in the winter. But that is probably why I can't wear purple jeans no matter the weather.

My motto has always been........."I can't hide it, so I just decorate it".....with all the colors of the rainbow (my body, that is....: )

You can do ANYTHING you want. No one can boss you, and you will have a bunch of us cheering you on. Time and purple jeans wait for no one.

Wear and enjoy your purple jeans! You might wear purple slacks, right? Well, jeans are slacks....

Have fun....we only go this way once.

I was sitting at Starbucks a couple of weeks ago and a lovely lady walked by dressed just cute with matching everything: shoes, purse etc. Now young people would never do that. I just smiled that I have just moved to a great town that I can be "just me" whatever that is. I can be comfortable with little to no make-up, grey/white hair, too much jiggle in some body places and not enough in others and it doesn't matter. Wear those purple jeans.....and a purple streak in your hair if you like. Its all good !

OK, here's someone who would not wear purple jeans -- not today, not tomorrow and not even yesterday. There's one very simple reason -- I don't like purple. But I'd certainly consider other colors if the style, fit and price were right.

I don't like purple either but if you do and it fits with your tops go for it.
The problem I have is that a lot of the colors are fashion jeans and the legs are slimmer at the calf. I bought a pair of teal and they shrank so they no longer fit. I had to cut them off and make shorts. I wear jeans unless its in the high 70's or 80's as I am always cold.
My favorite outfit is a Red jeans jacket and Black jeans. Both my husband and myself love black jeans. I had a pair of camel tan that I wore till they had holes and fell apart. Besides don't the red hat society ladies wear a lot of purple and they all have spunk.

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens

But don't go through their trash.
