Hi Ladies. I'm a babyboomer that was married 3 times and I'm kinda done with men, tho I've tried the dating sites and am giving up. I don't really want to take care of another selfish man. And I am NOT gay.

BUT, I would like a few girlfriends. I wish there was a "Villages Find-a-Friend" website. I enjoy playing cards and games (rotating homes, not the organized ones at the centers). I'd like to meet for meals occasionally, chat about life and our kids and grandkids, and maybe take a few road trips with someone I trust and with whom conversation is mutually enjoyable.

For instance, I've checked out the website for the Clearwater beaches and would so love to hit the trolley and find an affordable motel nearby Pier60. Wouldn't that be fun with a friend (and somebody that doesn't need to deal with a pet)?

So, my idea is out here. I will login every day for awhile so please reply somehow with some contact info and we can meet for coffee or have a phone conversation. I am widowed and 62, live in CountryClubHills, a non-smoker. Thanks for your interest.
