Not closer but I go to mall in Ocala. Looks like someone here would "get with it". I think it lasts much longer than waxing!

It's an ancient technique of removing hair around the eyes with a thread. It's very fast and fascinating to watch. I've never had it done but plan to give it a try some day. Whip! Whip! Whip!

It is actually used across the entire face for people that have an abundance of hair and is less rough on the skin that other methods. I just googled it and found a video on it where they demonstrate it. Amazing, and for people with that issue, it is a much more comfortable way to get rid of it.

It sounds a little barbaric to me? What is the advantage?

I wonder if there can be any cerebral issues if threading too tight occurs?

I work in the Bay areas with women of every ethnicity. Lots of shops here (in Ca) do threading.
Now I am a fair redhead with eyebrows that had to be tattooed on, (permanent cosmetics) but my Persian, Pakastani, Indian friends and LOVE threading.
It is quick, painless and yes, some gals do their entire face. No regrowth problem with stubble, like shaving. You may find shoppes in Orlando in some of the malls or hairdressers.

Not to switch the topic but if you have red hair now and tattoo your brows to match your skin color and hair color, what happens in 20 or 30 years when you go white or do you have to keep your hair color the same til the very end to match your brows?

I dont think it is painless but definitely not the shock of having wax torn off--i have it done several times up north---a little puffiness and redness for a couple of hours
