Publix is usually hiring. They have a place to apply right inside the door of all their stores.

Default Dial 211

Just as a FYI.

You can dial 211 and be directed to all types of programs
which will give you a hand UP........

When one calls, it is possible to get connected with who just don't
give a rats behind....simply hang up and call again....
the next one to answer will likely treat you just fine.

Another FYI.....if you need Mental Health counseling.....or Diabetes Meds.
(in a emergency situation )
....Dial 911.....a Police Officer SHOULD be dispatched to drive you
to the nearest available Emergency Room or designated health facility.
By LAW....the Law Enforcement Officer is mandated to do this....
....however.....you would be surprised how many Officers have not
been informed of this by their Supervisors.

Happy Holidays to all.....
....May your Days be blessed in Love, Light, Peace and Joy.

I am not an employer, but you might want to mention what type of work you are looking for.......someone might know someone who can help. Good luck and will say a prayer for you.

If you would like to do telephone survey work (no selling) try Employment. You do not pay any fees and you do received an hourly salary. You need your own computer and internet connection. The company is building a work at home staff.

I see that both you and your husband live here in the villages. Does your husband need work too? Do you have family or friends here or back home? Are you able to work physically? I hope these questions aren't insensitive but most of us are caring people and would share a meal if you needed it until you can find work.

Not sure if you are interested in fast food until something else comes almg but I have seen Arby's on 466 in front of Wal-Mart with a help wanted sign in the Drive Thru window.

Am I correct in remembering that you used to own a cleaning business that cleaned homes? Are you able to do that still?

Try THE HOME DEPOT on Hwy 27/441 which is 20 mins away. I work there and they are adding staff to the MET Team which works on setting up displays, etc. You may need to apply online, but try calling the store and checking with HR on the MET Team positions.
Also, many of the landscaping/nursery businesses will be adding staff for the busy spring season. Most will want to hire/train in January to be ready, so if you are physically able, apply there too!! Best of luck....
