Stainless steel
Ladies. What natural cleaning products do you use for your ss fridge?

Mineral oil. Put a small amount on and wipe most of it off. It leaves an oil film which makes wiping small smudges off easier. I used to have to clean the darned thing every day - now it's just an occasional wipe.

I use a little bit of baby oil. I do not have to clean as often.

A good microsoft towel rinsed in water followed by a dry microsoft towel. Works great!

WD 40 works very well.

All of our previous stainless steel cleaned up nicely with a clean cloth dipped into a solution of dishwashing liquid and water followed by another clean cloth to dry.
These appliances are always streaked after I use that method. I have tried all kinds of cleaners with the same results. I don't want to put oil on them. I want them to FEEL clean to the touch. They are driving me CRAZY.

I have tried Windex, doesn't work either. it leaves streaks too. I don't care HOW unnatural it is, I would like it not only to BE clean, but to LOOK clean. I often wonder if the folks who design our kitchen appliances have ever used kitchen appliances. I have had stainless steel appliances in the past in two different homes and they cleaned up nicely with soap and water and CLEAN rags.

In our last house, I tried many things. I found that once you go with the oily-type stuff (Weiman wipes, Pledge, etc.), you should stay with that type. A spray will then not work because you have effectively put a protective film on with the oily-type stuff. You would have to somehow get all of that off, I guess with really hot, soapy water. I might try the mineral oil thing and see what happens.
