Most bocce groups are casual and let you pair up with whoever you want.

There’s a social bocce group plays Tuesdays at 4:00pm at Ezell. Straight down Morse to Ezell.

Ezell is on Meggison, not just straight down Morse, and It’s a long distance from the northern villages. Morse to Meggison, then down Meggison to the Sawgrass Grove parking lot, which is shared with Ezell.

There is a group that is open to newcomers that play at 1:00 or 1:30 every Sunday at Pimlico. Nice group of people, not too many, smaller group. You could play there. Enjoy - I love bocce!

Bocce is no fun in the villages , no one brings a gallon of home made red wine and there’s no swearing in Italian . I mean what’s up with that ?And forget anyone playing Morra and even if you could find people to play someone would call the cops because of the noise , I’m still hoarse from summer playing in Boston lol

Go to a rec center near you that has bocce leagues and ask the person in charge to put you on the sub list. You will get to play almost every week. Before COVID, I ran two groups at Chula Rec Center and some subs were there every week.

It was meant to be humorous and also how many of us still play in the neighborhood in summer and the bocce courts are over a hundred year old not really a criticism of how it’s played here but for me I would find it boring , Bocce in an old Italian neighborhood is like theater , just like Morra to be played with flair !!!
