Default Bowling Practice for Special Olympics Games

As they proceeded to bowl some of their greatest games, a group of Special Olympics Florida Sumter County bowlers encouraged each other on. Wayne Schmidt’s team has been practicing weekly to improve their results. Every Saturday, members of the club gather at Spanish Springs Lanes in Lady Lake to practice for a chance to compete

I’m happy to see that Special Olympics is alive and well here in Sumter Co. My husband used to coach one of the best basketball teams in our hometown in Oregon. When the boys learned that Bill and our son were coaching a Special Olympics team, also, most of those boys became volunteer coaches. It was wonderful watching athletes who were used to receiving accolades for their prowess working with those who had disabilities.

That is really great participation for the special needs children.
