Default Club Hosted a Benefit to Raise Funds for Mammograms

Getting a mammogram is usually a stressful experience since you know you’ll have to endure inconvenience and worry while waiting for a positive outcome. Patients can finally let go of one stressor: expense, thanks to the efforts of a few generous and dedicated Villagers. A charity performance was held at the Everglades Regional Recreation Complex

I am confused, is this for the uninsured because all mammograms are free for the insured or those on Medicare or Medicaid.

“ Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance companies cover the cost of mammograms. Since September 2010, the Affordable Care Act has required all new health insurance plans to cover screening mammograms every 1-2 years for women ages 40 and older, with no out-of-pocket costs (co-payments or co-insurance)“
Must be for the UNINSURED?
