As most Villagers know, The Villages spans through three different counties. Here are the number of new COVID cases as of Mar. 30, according to the CDC website. In Lake County, there have been about 40 new cases over the last week. About 4 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and no deaths

Florida has some problems reporting it's COVID numbers. It turns out several counties reported over 100% of the population is vaccinated. I think one even reported 200% vaccinated. And they are not going to look into why or what. Some are guessing it is snow birds and/or vacationers getting vaccinated here, and they got reported as residents.

And who cares? Can we get past this or should you start reporting Flu and RSV cases too? If you are vaccinated you have nothing to worry about. Move on.

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
