The District 2 Q&A meeting will be held at El Santiago Recreation Center on April 26. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. and will be hosted by Tom Swiers, District 2 Supervisor. Why aren't the Neighborhood Watch Drivers given more authority to address some homeowners' issues when they see some things like: parking on lawns, homes needing washing, lawns that need mowing or landscaping that needs trimming, etc. - "other than just driving around to be seen?" Neighbors don't like confronting other neighbors when they witness some of the above concerns that obviously need to be addressed.

Why wait for someone else to notice a problem? There is a complaint process to draw attention to issues like this, you should use it.

I prefer that Neighborhood Watch NOT do what you suggest. It's better that they are seen as being there to help and not acting as watchdogs or spies.

But this does seem like a perfect question for the Q&A meeting.
