Default Ezell Regional Recreation Complex

On Nov. 13, the Ezell Regional Recreation Complex, located at 769 Marilee Pl., will be officially open. The Ezell Regional Recreation Center is named after Kenny Ezell, golf and design partner at CEC Golf Design Group, whose handiwork is all over golf courses in The Villages. And as most Villagers know, the recreation centers are centered

Sad to see it isn't going to have a pool, dart and shuffleboard table room. I know there is one at Aviary but seems the largest rec center should have it all.

Morris... Or is that Sumpter?

But seriously, I thing it's with a long E, but with the accent on the 2nd syllable...

Just got back from the preview opening. It's a very nice rec center. Pretty close to the same layout of the other large regional rec centers, just themed different. Had the major representatives from The Villages there (Mark, Jennifer, Tracy). Kenny Ezell was there to cut the ribbon. Nancy Lopez was also there. I'm sure The Villages will be posting a video in the near future.

We were in the first group at 9:30. Nice building. We've been peeking in as its being built.
Creepy mannequins upstairs are a bit off-putting.
Used the rest room - why arent there sensor flushometers and faucets in a brand new place? I dont even need to use a flush handle in an airport.....
Gym looks wonderful! Not going to pay for its use, though. Ill drive to MVP and use it for free. Who paid for that brand spanking new equipment? My amenities fee? and I am being charged to use it?

The mannequins dressed in golf clothes made it look like a gap clothing store for some reason. Maybe golf attire through the ages would be better. Sports not scheduled in the pool and others till January and “maybe”.
