Default Scheduled closure of Lake Miona Walking Trail

The Lake Miona Walking Trail will be closed for scheduled repairs Monday, May 13 and Tuesday, May 14. Repairs will be on the north side of the bridge. This schedule may be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact District Property Management at

So regular maintenance is not to be done on infrastructure.

And meanwhile the Air-Conditioner at Colony Recreation Center needs replaced! Go figure, which one is used more? Another rip off!!!!!

I have done outdoor work long enough to see what they have put in Will not last very long. Three years from now, it will be in shambles or constant repair

The Project Wide committee that approved that trail made a bad decision. It did not need to be that fancy soft pavement. It would have cost less if they installed regular asphalt with concrete ribbon edges. Like the multi-modal paths.

Then it would not deteriorate so fast, and dogs could walk on it.
