There was a time when I wouldn't be 12 over in 10 rounds. But that was 40 years ago, now I'm more likely to have a 17 on the first hole than I am to ever shoot 64 again.

Won't happen to me or anybody in my regular foursome. We pickup and move on after double par on any one hole. Life is too short!

When I first moved here that called what you do the Callaway Rule. It is certainly a distraction to play with someone who believes that giving up on a hole is wrong. I've played with people on executive courses that will take as many strokes as it takes to get to the hall and wondering to myself if the foursome in the back is going to get inpatient and hit into us? I won't hold people up either my stroke is decent or it isn't and if it isn't then I am in the pocket after two -3 strokes on an executive course.
