Default Bunker Care

We played Havana yesterday and Cane on Saturday. Both course have some steep bunkers and I was dismayed to see many (in some cases ALL) the bunker rakes on the highest sides of the bunkers.

In my opinion, the ambassadors need to remind us that bunkers are to be entered and exited at the lowest point that is nearest to a players ball. One of the Lopez starters reminds players each time and also to leave the rake with just the handle extending from the bunker.

We all want to keep our beautiful course in top condition. Any other ideas?

Right on! I found that I had to walk over to the steep slopes to get rakes. This should be communicated by starters, the shop personnel, signs etc. NEVER enter a bunker on the high side..... Ambassadors? They should place the rakes in the proper place on their ride arounds.. I always did when I was a "Ranger".....
