Always, and rake up after others that didn’t. Always fill in multiple divots and fix multiple ball marks as well.

Why insult the developer who gave us such a great place to live? When it’s freezing on the course I’m grateful for the jeans!

Where is the 'insult?'
Jeans in my book do not belong on the golf course, and if you wear them, as far as I am concerned, you have no golfing class either!

So do I get hole in one if it falls In either?

I was told about how this evolved. Used the word interesting as TV is the only semi private golf courses that allow jeans.

Default Golf in The Villages

Your question is not clear. Is this the "first ever" round of golf you will play....or is it just the first round in The Villages? If it is the first ever, you would do well to get some practice on the driving range before stepping foot on a golf course.
Nothing will draw the ire of other golfers as quickly as someone constantly swinging and missing or hacking the ball all over the course because they simply do not know how to hit a golf ball. You must keep the game moving so other players don't back up waiting behind you. That is simple golf etiquette.
That said.........good luck and enjoy the game!

Default Dress Code

The dress code for the exec courses is the same as it is for the championship courses, and driving ranges. Go to " Golf the Villages". It will explain the dress code.

when I took new to golf in 2011, what they taught us was pick up at double par no mater what course you played.

the dress code for the driving ranges has changed(specifically at sarasota). Tee shirts, bathing suits, spaghetti strap tops, etc. Are allowed!

Who ever told you that was WRONG...
See page 7, middle of the page under MAXIMUM SCORE.
States: Use triple bogey (par plus 3) as the maximum score on ANY hole and PICK UP after you've REACHED that score.
You pick up after THREE over par, NOT DOUBLE PAR...
Par 3 pick up after 6.
Par 4 pick up after 7 NOT 8.
Par 5 pick up after 8 NOT 10.
