The Villages Golfest is sponsored by Golfweek Magazine. This is an annual event that is held at the Polo Field and over 10,000 people attend during the two days. This year is is scheduled for Mar. 2-3. Go to www.golfest.com for more info.
Golfweek Magazine is also the National Sponsor of the Golfweek Amateur Tour. The Tour is open for men and women of all ages and all skill levels. As the Tour Director I'd like to tell you that our first tournament Sat. Jan. 14 at Stone Creek Golf Club in Ocala. There are plenty of openings for players. Please go to www.amateurgolftour.net and join the tour, and register and pay for the tournament.
