Default Exec Men's Day South of 466

I heard a rumor today at Heron on men's day that TV is going to have another course south of Lake Sumter Landing run a men's day. I hope this is true, of the 13 courses north of 466 there are 4 men's day courses, of the 16 courses south of 466 there are only 2 and one is Churchill which is right at 466. With all the new homes built out to 466a we need at least one or more executive men's day courses. Could someone from Golf Admin reply? Thanks.

Maybe there will be a mass exodus to Augusta.

Yes, there is Men's day on Tuesday and Ladies' day on Wednesday at various Executive courses in TV.

Scramble format, shotgun start, randomly assigned foursomes, 3 to 4 flights depending on time of the year. Reserve your spot in advance on golf tee time system. You get notified of your start time and team (starting hole) number. Three (?) low groups and closest to the pin get credit at golf shops. Last time I played it was $2 to play and an additional $1 contribution for closest to the pin. The numbered parking spaces you see in front of the starters shack for Heron are for the players carts. Two parking spots per foursome.

I did call them a while ago and they said they would pass it on to "whoever" and I never heard from them again. So today when I heard the "rumor" I thought TOTV might be a way to get a response.

Rumor I heard was that Sandhill would be added as a Ladies' Day course sometime this fall. Maybe Turtle Mound for the men?

There is extra parking at Turtle Mound, can't remember if there is extra parking at Sandhill also, but am guessing there is. I think TV golf people plan for these way in advance nowadays, like when they plan the new courses. Am betting there will also eventually be a Ladies' and Men's day south of 466A in a couple of years too.

Not enough parking at Sandhill for 36 carts. I'm also betting one of the new courses south of 466A will be a Men's/Lady's Day course.

Around November Bonifay will begin to host Men's and Ladies days. Evan's Prairie will host the Mens'/Ladies days on their exec. They see the need to move these activities south as the population grows.

Under consideration and expected to be announced is M/L days at Turtle Mound area whichever parking lot is larger.....

I work for them so I know this....no rumor

Bonifay and Evan's Prairie are Championship courses, not Executive.

Starting in early November, Turtle Mound will have Mens Day.
