Default Kudos to The Villages Rec Dept

Played Mickylee pitch & putt yesterday for the second time since opening. We typically go to either that one or Richmond or Marshview every six weeks or so with friends. Nice and fun short game practice.

TV did a fantastic job setting up the Mickylee area. The 18 hole course is really like a short “regular” course. Nice undulations and pristine greens (for now…). The setup is wonderful with nice views all around. They must have planted almost 100 big palms all around the course.

The putting course looks great too, and very popular.

Kudos! So we drove down twice in 5 weeks. Both times we passed right by the area. No signs and the Starter is off the road a bit with no signs yet.

Played Mickylee Pitch and Putt for the first time yesterday. We are not serious golfers and so we enjoyed the experience. The starter shack rents both small golf bags and pull carts for $1 ea. You also have to leave a Village ID behind until you return the golf bag. The golf bags are designed for 6 clubs, which should be adequate for two players.

Mickylee is located on Meggison 2 1/2 miles South of Sawgrass. There is separate parking for both cars and golf carts. If you’re unable to get a tee time for an executive course, pitch and putt is a good option.
