Smile Stay young by helping young golfers

November 2013 opened a new chapter in my retirement life. I found The First Tee of Greater Ocala. For three years prior, I had the pleasure to work with PGA Pro Wade Martin and Tri-County Jr. Golf here in The Villages. Each Saturday morning and weeks during the summer camps saw me helping area youth and Villages' visiting youth learn the game I have enjoyed since my early thirties. Through my newly found hero, Zakki Blatt and his parents (google this name and watch Rich Lerner for the golf channel's video of Zakki), I met The First Tee. Three days a week I volunteer within school settings and four days a week at golf courses. PRICELESS as I devour vitamins and drink from the fountain of youth provided by children learning nine core values and healthy habits through the game of golf. The curriculum offers a proven program to nurture children as they play a game we seniors cherish. PAY IT FORWARD means giving of one's time, talent and treasure so that others can better their lives. Should you wish to obtain a "HIGH" and feel rewarded, I suggest passionately that you contact Chris Wilson- The Executive Director of The First Tee of Greater Ocala- and discuss how your time, talent and treasure will make you and the young golfers happier individuals enjoying GOLF (Game Of Life First). I have found that giving back to The First Tee has enriched my life dramatically! Thanks for your consideration!
