I'm moving to Sanibel in August and have been told I am near to the golf "training center." Can someone tell me about the training center? Also, where's the closest executive course to Sanibel? Thanks.

The golf training center refers to the complex off Morse blvd just south of 466A. It is called Sarasota, and consists of a very nice driving range where you hit balls into a lake where they have man made islands to shoot at. It also has a very nice chipping and putting area and a place to practice from a sand trap. It has a very nice golf shop where you can buy clubs and every thing else you might need related to golf. It also has an excellent teaching facility that has the latest video technology and is staffed by two great PGA teaching professionals. I have gotten lessons from Joey Hydock, and highly recommend him. The nearest executive course to you is palmetto, which will soon be joined by a host of others in that area, including one that I heard they intend to build at Sarasota. Welcome to The Villages!
