I'm curious to hear the answer from someone in the know.

I was going to enter the Gross Championship a couple of years ago, until I found out, 45 Year Olds were eligible. It's fairly difficult to compete with someone, 25 years younger. I thought it was a "mistake" in the sign up, but I went to Mark Verkey & asked ... that's what it was. I'm fairly certain it was played from Golds, when I was interested.

I spoke with Steve Hanson the pro at Glenview. The men’s championship flight played from gold and the women from green.

Anyone age 69 or younger, White or Blue.

70 and up can use White or Green.

I played with the Mom who’s son is a pro golfer. She played college and short time professionally. I recognize the name immediately from our CC, verified with her, laughed in my mind when one of the foursome grumbled some shouldn’t be here. She is 80, plays from the Blue, or White. Her game is exceptional, it’s was a pleasure and at time an embarrassment for others
