Fig Newtons are great. I always carry a few with me on longer bike rides. Good for Golf too!

Wow!!! There are some excellent ideas. I like K Bars (Honey & Nuts) and cut up oranges, but will be looking for some of these great suggestions to bring next time

Crazy but they are good. That was his snack up to and over being 100.
Very low cal and healthy (even with the sour cream) as compared to other processed food snacks. Was he Polish or Ukrainian? They mix sour cream in with their cukes.....very similar as to how you described it above.
Cucumbers were served very often in many different ways.........as well.
