My husband and I both had Dr Ireland several years ago!
I had the lense where you do not have to wear glasses and my husband had the one where you still use readers!
Dr. Ireland did a great job!!

I support Sage327 in appreciation of Dr. Ireland’s skill and the efficiency of the staff at the clinic in Sumter Landing.

Dr Ireland and St Lukes are very professional, Dr Ireland did my cataract surgery after Scott Holman totally screwed up my wife's surgery. He dilated one of eyes using a 3 prong tool and it never returned to normal size letting in more light than the other eye. His attitude about this was horrible, he accused my wife of being vain instead of trying to rectify the situation.

Default Cataract surgery

Everyone seems happy enough with there surgeries. Wondering how many used laser surgery and how many manual surgery. Was quoted just shy of $8000 for laser.

You are correct. I was not thinking when I wrote "Kathy". Was more interested in getting the message out about the Institute itself and didn't pay attention to what I was writing. And you are correct that she is an accomplished surgeon and I do believe that she flies helicopters. Personally, I would advise her against that hobby, lol... but to each his own...

Usually you read positives and negatives for anyone or any place, when all positives you know it’s a person or place to trust. Add me to the list of happy campers using Dr. Ireland.

I had mine about 5 years ago in another state when I was on my company's medical plan. I only paid the deductible which was much less than $8,000. It would have been more if I chose a "premium" lens which my doctor said would probably not be an improvement.

My surgery was laser. Manual surgery seems kind of primitive.

I remember the pre surgery eye drops to be expensive.
