Default Landscaping Stones

I am moving onto a Courtyard Villa that has a blank back yard. Only mulch in ground areas. I want to have it leveled, sprayed to kill weeds, covered in landscape cloth, and then covered in stone/gravel. I would prefer a light colored stone/rock. Who should I contact?

You need to visit Dirt Cheap in Summerfield. They have provided rock for a great many homes in The VIllages including mine.
Great selection, reasonable prices. They sell and deliver the rock, but can provide you with a list of contractors who will spread it.
I used Landscape by McGowan to do the heavy lifting part for my CYV and was pleased with their work

You are not just buying stones. What you are describing is a landscaping project. Get ARC approval before doing the work. Contact a few landscapers and get some competitive quotes. Two good ones are Jamies and Choice Maintenance. They are good but not cheap. You can find some cheaper ones, but be careful and DO NOT pay money in advance. When I was getting quotes, one guy gave me a price that was less than the actual cost of the stones alone. Good luck.

Also, be very careful how this is drained so you do not flood your neighbors, if you are lucky there will be a drain in the backyard, use it. As noted above contact ARC for approval.
