Jews for Jesus is an organization, not a church or synagogue.

One of the major differences in belief is that Torah does not recognize that repentance and acceptance of Yeshua/Jesus as Lord and personal Savior brings salvation and eternal life in heaven.

Heavy corrosion: YOU are in error. Jews for Jesus (NYC) hasn't anything to do with Torah or it's teachings and I have already stated one very important distinction. Also, a friend of mine is on the board of Jews for Jesus so I know of whence I speak.

So please, stop connecting these two. Believe as you will, some people just can't help it !!!

corrosion: I'm certainly not going to argue with you, but I know from where I speak. I have spoken to both organizations directly. I personally know a person who heads the board of directors for one.

I'm not sure any of this is all that important to keep commenting on so this will be my last.

I agree with you and if anyone will read both of their statements of faith on their websites will see right away the contradiction between your original statement and their fundamental belief in Yeshua/Jesus as savior and by grace alone!

A great site I have found that explains messianic judism is www.lightofmashiach.org They have a very interesting and informative questions and answer section. The messianic congregations I know of are a mixture of Jews and Gentiles who accept Jesus/Yeshua as messiah but, follow the old holidays just have added the new testament fulfillments to the ceremonies. I do know that there are Jews in Israel who are called Messianics that do not believe in Yeshua as Messiah but, are very devote Jews and they think their messiah will be coming soon...for example many of the settlers over in Gaza (of course they were forced out awhile back by their own gov't) Maybe those are the Messianic that Livingston is talking about?

I googled it, and the closest that I could find is in Orlando. I'll keep checking and see what I find. I love visiting Messianic/Torah based churches and the OT Festivals.
