Default Is there a small(ish) Catholic Church nearby TV?

St. Timothy and St. Luke are just too big for us.

I would like to find a small church that is like the ones I grew up with back in Erie, PA.....small neighborhood like churches.

The mega churches just loose something for me.

I'm not sure where St. Lukes is? In Google just type Catholic Church near 32162 and you'll get a bunch and it'll show them on a map.

Don't know St. Luke's. Could you mean St. Mark's, which is up on 42 on the north side.

Try St. Vincent de Paul's which is off 466A near the new government center.

Small, laid back. However, don't be shocked when Fr. Peter starts talking about his grandkids, but you'll have to go there to find out.

Default Us too...

We have also found St. Vincent de paul's more to our liking, as we come from a small town church. (and we also had Fr. Chuck up north who had grandkids!!!)

However, it won't be long before ST. VDP has a new, large church building and will be more like the other 2 R.C. churches in TV. By that time we'll be ensconsed, so think we'll remain comfortable.

As c0ld as it's been here this week, bet you're glad you're not in Erie! Lots of snow there!

St Theresa's, a quick ride up 301 just south of Bellevue.

The pastor is a warm, bright, engaging person.

The congregation is warm, bright and engaging.

The church sponsors/operates about 60 social outreach programs, the most I've ever seen in a single parish, and very needed in this community.

You can still park and get a seat in February.

Stay away from St Mark.

I hear it is run by the deacon and his wife.

Alot of talking before and after Mass is very rude!

Another vote for St. Vincent de Paul's plus they have the best singers and music there. Try the 11:30 mass, its beautiful.

I haven't been to St. Theresa's yet but will just to experience it.
