get an attorney located outside of the villages.....Much cheaper and do the exact same job. But, you must update to Florida law. You do not want problems when the time comes. No do-it-yourself documents for this very important matter.

Pittman Law firm is exceptional estate planning. It is worth a few bucks to do it right. A trust will negate the need for probate. You leave her with a huge binder that helps keep all your records straight. If you have property in other states you will need a lawyer from that state to help you. She is the best.

We just went through the exercise of setting up a trust, POA for health care and financial, and redoing wills. Sham Shanawany was great to work with and reasonably priced.

Check out the Villages Newcomers video on this subject (Trusts). I plan to get mine reviewed.

Here is their email address: villagesnewcomers@gmail.com

Since you say that your documents are ‘huge’, you likely have some complexities. In such cases, good T&E (trust and estate) lawyers tend to work from new testamentary documents rather than patch ones that someone else in another state drafted. You can probably find a lawyer to do what you want though, but I think it would be a signal of their quality.

Then an attorney is your answer since you seem to want to argue with other suggestions.

Default Trust and will update

We recently moved from Michigan and we’re advised to update due to different laws - went to Kathryn Lynn on 466 behind the shell gas station - she will update only that portions that are effected.

Default Legal Assistance

My wife and I used Kathryn Baranski at Bogins, Munn and were quite satisfied.

I had a terrible experience with Jennifer Hansen. I would not ever use her again.

Default Great Attorney

We have used Lawrence Adashek in Maryland and Florida and like him very much.
Phone 410-415-5880 Welcome to The Villages. He lives in both places too.

Eric Millhorn and Assoc. on 301 near 466. They are the best.

If you are going to have the documents reviewed I would try and get a word copy from the original attorney so the documents do not have to be retyped.

I agree, but I don't think attorneys want to provide an electronic document that can be modified. I am surprised that some posters have said that a Florida attorney would review and modify a document prepared by an out-of-state attorney.
