TRP is a woke company. When The Walt Disney Co. had their recent proxy fight, TRP sided with the company against the best interests of the shareholders. In this time of SEG, I would re-think letting then hold my assets.

Both Lending Club and CIT savings accounts (very reputable online banks) give 5%+

I never worry, nor do I care, what my advisors charge. I worry about what I get.

I am wondering why I never see any Talk of T.rowe on here.

I am no savvy investor Just a hard working stiff who saved for a retirement.

I see Fidelity and Vanguard talked about
all the time here and am looking for someplace to put the $100k just for around 5% income annually.

I also do Have a fidelity Brokerage account I use and I used Vanguard years ago

What am I missing using T Rowe?

Thanks
Vanguard and Fidelity are much bigger organizations than T Rowe Price in terms of assets managed. That is the main reason the public hears less about TRP, not because there is anything wrong.

I agree that is a reason. In addition, it could be that Fidelity is used by a lot of employers for their 401(k) accounts, so when a retiree rolls a 401 into a self-directed IRA, it might seem easier to just stick with Fidelity. Also -- some people prefer to have a bricks-and-mortar office available like Fidelity and Schwab have in some places. Sometimes it is just a matter of a preference for the way the website works. We are all creatures of habit.

None of these things means that one is better than the other.
