Default 3.4 Ounce Beer Mug

Apparently, the Government is now recommending that people should limit their beer drinking to two beers per week. That is 3.4 ounces of beer per day. I like to drink my draft beer from a frosted beer mug, but I cannot find any source for a mug in that size, either online or in a bar. Does anyone know where I can buy a 3.4 ounce beer mug, or a bar where they will serve me the recommended amount of beer? Thanks for any suggestions.

My suggestion is this: Enjoy your beer in any moderate quantity that makes you happy. I have 2 per day and this works well for me. I am unconcerned about the Government's opinion of what I do with my body. I'm retired and in my final chapter; I will not be micromanaged by Government for behaviors in moderation.

Kirk:
Captain Spock, damage report.

Spock:
Admiral, if we go "by the book". like Lieutenant Saavik, hours could seem like days.

Kirk:
I read you captain. Let's have it.

Spock:
The situation is grave, Admiral. We won't have main power for six "days". Auxiliary power has temporarily failed. Restoration may be possible, in two "days". By the book, Admiral.

It’s semantics.
Weeks feel like days. Days feel like weeks.
If you heed government policy, you are not paying attention.

I know of a few breweries that offer beer in mugs that size. It’s called the sampler platter, where you can get 6 mugs of different beers to try out. That way when you order a couple pints in frosty mugs, you can choose from your favorite samples.

Life is too short to have just a sip, if you want a beer have a beer perhaps only have it every few days.

There will be a point sometime in the future when I will not be drinking any beer. I'm drinking enough now so that it will average out to the recommended daily rate.

I have A&W mugs that size. By a certain age stopping whatever vice you have probably won’t improve your health.

Do you have a source for that claim? Instead of claiming “the government” did it, give us a link to the agency or department or court or legislature or whatever that has done this. Or is your source some clickbait site also claiming some living actor is dead?

Google the words "george koob", alcohol, and canada.

The source is the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) Director George Koob, who said that the U.S. may follow Canada's footsteps on alcohol guidelines. Currently, Canada recommends a limit of two drinks per week. But, please note that this thread was posted under the forum topic of "Just for Fun".
